Save the Lion Yard loos!

Cambridge's Lib Dem City Council want to close the Lion Yard toilets - the only ground floor loos in the city centre - to free up more retail space for the Grand Arcade. The toilets will move upstairs to new premises half the size, with no attendants, and only accessible by lift or escalator. This will make it much more difficult or even impossible for the disabled, the elderly, and families with young children to use the loos - which will have no baby changing facilities.
Cambridge Labour Councillors are fighting this move and are supporting the most vulnerable people in Cambridge.
Sign our petition to tell the City Council to stop putting greed before the common good. We need our loos!
Please don't close these toilets - we need them! Cambridge doesn't need any more shops, but the disabled, the elderly and families with small children need accessible toilets on the ground floor. Please don't put quick profits ahead of what the community needs.
